Carolina Brewery Takes Home Four Medals at the 2025 Carolina Championship of Beer
Chapel Hill & Pittsboro, NC - April, 22, 2025 – Carolina Brewery, a cornerstone of North Carolina craft brewing since 1995, is proud to announce that four of its beers were awarded medals at this year’s Carolina Championship of Beer, held annually at the Hickory Hops Festival in Hickory, NC.
At the 2025 competition, Carolina Brewery brought home one Gold Medal and three Bronze Medals, reinforcing its reputation for brewing high-quality, flavorful beer that appeals to a wide range of craft beer lovers.
🏅 Gold Medal Winner:
Sky Blue Kölsch – A crisp, refreshing German-style ale that’s a fan favorite and a signature brew for Carolina Brewery.
🥉 Bronze Medal Winners:
Paddle Daze Hazy IPA – A juicy, hop-forward IPA with bold citrus aroma and a smooth finish.
Stargazer IPA – A classic American IPA with a balanced bitterness and tropical hop profile.
Costero Mexican-Style Lager – A light-bodied lager brewed with maize for a clean, crisp taste, perfect for warm weather sipping.
